It’s important that you realize you should be using different hashtags on each post, that are contextually relevant to the content you are putting out. Additionally, if you want to see results when it comes to your hashtags, you should be implementing a hashtag strategy. Copying and pasting the same hashtags for every post won’t help you see results. Overusing hashtags not only means that your content oversaturates these hashtag groups but also that the hashtags you use over and over again, might not be relevant to each of your posts.
If you already have a Flick account, you can download our app for free. The app will calibrate to your account and will load all of your saved collections on your phone, where you can manage the hashtag collections that you’ve already done the background research for. Now your hashtags are with you wherever you are, whether you’re on the bus on the way to work, or on holiday in the sun – if you need to post, you can.
Here, you will be able to see all of your saved collections. Select the collection or collections you want to pick from, copy the hashtags you want to use to your clipboard and paste them into your post – easy as pie! This means you can say goodbye to a crowded notes section on your phone, and say hello to researched hashtags that will get you results, in a much simpler format.
You can also mix and match hashtags from different collections before you export them, in case you are posting a piece of content that crosses over between two of your different collection sets. For example, if your post is about fashion and beauty, and you have a collection for each, you can mix and match hashtags from both for optimum results.
Once you’ve posted, you can check your analytics in the app. Here, you’ll be able to see your follower growth analytics, to get a clearer picture of how your posts, and therefore your hashtags, are performing on a daily basis. You’ll see a growth summary day-by-day and will be able to speculate as to which hashtags might be reaching (and obtaining) your target audience.
After you have seen what is working and what isn’t, you can change the hashtags you use within the app, to improve your performance.
