1. Create consistent content
One of the best ways to get verified is to create content consistently. While you donāt have control over whether or not your content will go viral, you can control how much content youāre making that has the chance to go viral!
How can you make better quality content?

- Use viral sounds
- Pay attention to details in your video

3. Get verified on another social platform
While you canāt apply for verification on TikTok, you can apply for verification on other platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Each one of the platforms has its own set of qualifications to go viral like:
- Facebook will verify accounts that are professional, official representations of a brand or person.
- Twitter verified active accounts that fall under a variety of different categories.
- Instagram is one of the hardest social media channels to get verified on. Learn how to get verified on Instagram here.
4. Get featured in the media
Want to get verified? Get talked about in the media. Either locally or nationally, being highlighted in the press is always a great way to get TikTok to recognize that your account is worth the blue checkmark!
5. Work with influencers
Are there any influencers on TikTok that you can easily work with? Collaboration is a great way for you to get your face in front of a bigger audience, get more followers, and potentially get in front of TikTokās verification committee.
Browse your favorite influencers that would be interested in working with others and/or have a similar niche and audience to you. Create a list and start reaching out to them about a collaboration.
6. Follow TikTokās community guidelines
This is incredibly important and seems like a āno, duh!ā But you must follow the rules! Having videos taken down for violating community guidelines isnāt the one, and TikTok will notice. And that magical blue checkmark you want so bad? Itāll never show up.
Can TikTok remove verification?š«
They can! TikTok has removed the blue verified badge for people and there are a couple reasons why. And yes, they can remove it at any time and without notice.
Some reasons why you can get your badge removed include:
- The account was found to be transferred to another owner making verification inauthentic.
- The username changed so the account owner needs to re-apply for verification.
- The account type changed between business, personal, or institution.
They may also remove verification from accounts that are found to be in severe or repeated violation of TikTokās Terms of Service.
