You can find the full list of features you can access with each plan here. However, to give you a small overview, you’ll be able to get access to:

Let’s get started on how to make the most of your Flick account.
How to link your accounts in Flick 🔗
First things first, you have to link your social media accounts.
When you link your social media accounts in Flick, you will link them inside Social Groups. The Social Group is where you will house your Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook in one spot.
Depending on how many different brands you have, you can label each Social Group as your different brands and keep your accounts and analytics separate from one another.
How to connect your Instagram and Facebook accounts to Flick 🤝
Flick’s tip: Be sure if you’re linking an Instagram account, the Instagram account is connected to a Facebook page. If it’s not, you cannot connect it to Flick.
- Login to Flick and click the settings tool on the lower left-hand side of the screen.
- From here, you will see your Social Groups. Click which Social Group you would like to connect to.
- Click “Link Socials” in the Social Group
- A Facebook pop-up will appear. Click all of the Instagram and Facebook pages you want to connect to Flick.
- Once connected, be sure to allow Flick to have access to all permissions.

- Login to Flick and head to your Social Group.
- If you’ve already added other social media accounts, you’ll click “Edit Linked Socials”
- Click to connect your TikTok account and a TikTok login pop-up will appear.
- Like Instagram and Facebook, be sure to allow Flick access to all permissions.
If you’re having any issues with linking, be sure to check out this article on how to solve linking.
How to connect your LinkedIn account to Flick 👩💻
- Login to Flick and head to your Social Groups.
- Click which Social Group you want to add your LinkedIn to.
- Once you’ve selected the Social Group, click Connect under LinkedIn.
- A login pop-up will appear for LinkedIn. Be sure to log in so Flick can connect.
- Once connected, be sure to allow Flick access to all features.
And that’s it! It’s super easy to set up and once we have access to those accounts, we’ll be able to help you start growing your social media.
How to create your first post with the AI Assistant ✍️
After you have linked your accounts, it’s time to start creating content! With Flick’s AI Social Media Marketing Assistant, you can create consistent content in seconds.
The best part? You don’t have to be a seasoned social media manager or agency. Heck, you don’t have to know social media that well at first.
The AI Assistant is like having a marketing expert on your team who knows your brand inside out. Give the tool a keyword or an overall theme, and it’ll do all the heavy lifting for you.
But, how can you make it work for you? What’s the best way to create your first piece of content with Flick’s AI Assistant? Let’s walk you through it.
How to use Flick’s AI Assistant 🎉
Let’s start off by saying you want to create a whole new post completely from scratch. You’re not sure exactly what you want your post to be about, so you decide to use the AI Assistant.
Brainstorm ideas 💡
From the left-hand side of the screen, click “Ideas.” You’ll be taken to the Content Lab where everything with our AI is housed.
At the top, click “Brainstorm ideas” to start generating new ideas for your next post. When the pop-up appears, enter a topic or keyword that you want the AI Assistant to brainstorm ideas for.
The tool will then return five different Creative Routes for you to explore. Each idea will give a different general idea based on the topic you searched.
Dig into the Creative Route 🎨
Once you have selected the route(s) you want to take, you’ll be able to get actual post ideas from the AI Assistant.
Select which direction you want to take your post. Remember: the more specific you are about your keyword or topic, the less results you will have. If you don’t see anything that you like, try generating a new idea or topic from the first screen.
Generate Post Ideas 🧠
Now that you have figured out the overall direction you want to take your post, it’s time to select the post ideas you want. You can select all the ideas you see, or if you don’t like any of them, ask the AI Assistant to replace them with fresh new ideas.
When we say you’ll never run out of post ideas, we mean it. You have access to a never-ending supply of post ideas in one place.
Create your caption ✨
Now for the fun part, if you ask me. Creating the caption! Captions are incredibly important when it comes to social media. They can make or break if your post gets a certain amount of engagement or reach.
So having an engaging caption that makes people want to like, comment, share, etc., is fundamental to your social media strategy.
Once you have selected the post ideas you want, it’s time to let the AI Assistant create the best caption for you and your social media accounts.
- Select a caption template as this will help the AI Assistant create even more engaging content, and help it decide how best to write the post for you.
- Determine the length of your post, what kind of content you want in it, the tone of voice you’d like, and which point of view you want the tool to write in.
- Want to make extra sure the tool writes completely in your voice? Add in your Brand Info (general information about your brand and business) and the AI Assistant will write captions in your style to your exact audience every single time.
- Select “Generate Caption” and the perfect caption for your content will be written in seconds. If the caption isn’t quite what you want, you can always ask the tool to re-write, adjust the tone, edit length, and more.
The hassle of coming up with fresh new content ideas every single month is no longer a worry.
Add your hashtags #️⃣
Yes, hashtags are still a thing and still work! If you’re not using them, well, you should be. And Flick makes it so easy for you to add hashtags with our AI Assistant.
After your caption has been created, click on “hashtags” underneath the caption. A pop-up will appear with hashtags that are completely tailored to your caption. No more hunting around for the best hashtags that make sense with your content.
Our AI Assistant is saving you both time and energy that can be spent working on other items to grow your business. Let us work on growing your social media accounts.
Generating an AI image or Stock Image 🖼️
Now that you have everything else set up for your perfect post, it’s time to think about the image. Do you have one? Or do you not have the time or resources to spend on creating the perfect image or video?
We get it! That’s why you can now get AI-generated images and access to over 100,000 high-quality stock images inside Flick’s AI Assistant.
Now that you have the perfect caption, click the “Continue” button at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to our Scheduler where you can now schedule all of your posts in advance! At the top of the screen (above your caption), click “Suggested.” From here, you’ll immediately get a list of suggested stock images you can add to your content.
Don’t want one of the stock images? Why not try an AI-generated image? Click “Generate Image” and an AI-generated image will appear that is tailor-made for your caption.
Analyzing your insights
Finally, one of the key pieces you need to be paying attention to during your 7-day trial is your insights.
Most social media platforms have an insights tab you can dig into, however, at Flick, we dig even further into analytics on your social media accounts. Why should you be paying attention to these stats for your content? Because it helps you figure out what content to make for your audience.
When you log in to Flick, click “Overview” under analytics. In this section, you’ll get a general overview (duh) of the analytics on your Instagram account. You’ll be able to access things like:
- Followers
- Audience activity
- Reach and Impressions
- Profile activity
- Website clicks
- Profile visits
- Hashtag analytics
Dig deeper into what content your audience is engaging with the most — and once you have discovered that content, you can have our AI Assistant generate a similar post for you. Instantly.
At Flick, we’re working incredibly hard to be the social media marketing tool you want (and deserve!). We want to help you streamline your workflow and make creating content easier on you—not harder.
Be sure to make the most out of your free trial to see why we think it’s the #1 tool you need. If you haven’t already, start your free trial today.
